ABOUT CAG
The Connecticut Association for the Gifted is a non-profit organization founded in 1969 that supports the needs of gifted and talented
children across Connecticut. In addition to sponsoring the “Minds in Motion” events, CAG provides parents, teachers, and other
educators with information and resources to help in parenting and educating gifted children.
The workshop I run every year: Creative Writing Exploration!!
Students will be provided with multiple writing prompts and interactive lessons to inspire the creative writing process. Note to Parents: One of the lessons involves the young writers leaving the classroom (with the teacher) and stopping in various areas to write. We will spend 15 minutes writing outside as well!!
