100. The Door of Heaven Stands Open

Mike has been an inspiration and instrumental in my walk with God. God literally told me to “keep listening to the man” and although I was shocked, because usually God tells me to stay away from Preachers because they can feed me lies and / or become an idol. But this man, Mike Parsons has a special anointing on him. His humility is attractive as well, because I know God wills us to be humble on these concepts of his divine love. God wants ALL to come to the knowledge of the truth! As I began trusting God more and more, I could see why he encouraged me to listen to Mike. IT is because we have VERY similar theological perceptions on the bible. There is more as well…. but for now, I just want to thank Mike and his team for doing what they are doing. The kingdom is GROWING this year God gave me the word: SERENITY and LOSING our IDOLS (with help from God) Hope this helps someone who is still SEEKING for a good teacher…. look no further…. 🙂

We looked in the last post at Jacob’s dream of a ladder set on earth and reaching into heaven. Now, let’s see how this worked out in the life of Jesus.

And He said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you will see the heavens opened and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man” (John 1:51).

This is what happened in Jesus’ ministry, and it is why He was able to do what He did. We are also to do what He did, and greater things (John 14:12). If Jesus needed the heavens open and angels ascending and descending, then God does not expect us to make do with less.

Jesus lived in dual realms

“No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven”

I am an enthusiastic daughter of God before anything! I serve as a literacy consultant, an Adult ESL teacher, a creative writing enthusiast, and a happy mommy ! Aside from being a better mom by challenging myself to take the time to work with her on kindergarten reading & math goals, including participating in some of her very imaginative play games, my goal has also been to write a couple blogs a week. I am trying to stay connected to the world in a spiritual, educational and hopefully inspirational way to bring joy to other blog readers! Not to mention a nice break up in the monotony of everyday mom life.
