When it is so clear without a shadow of doubt that God is leading me to seek him,
why don’t I?
When God tells me what to do to stay in a blissful state of mind,
why do I run the other way?
When God fills me with grace and joy,
why do I look for sadness and despair?
When God takes away all my idols which cause me anxiety,
why do I fret and even curse him at times?
When the Lord anoints me with the gift of true revelation of the Father’s love,
why do I dismiss it as unimportant or wishful thinking?
When the Lord give me a vision of what Christ accomplished on the cross for ALL,
why do I have trouble accepting my “perfection” in Christ?
When God reveals himself to me in such clarity,
why do I still engage with the enemy?
Because I am living in a fallen world, and even when I can’t see my perfection, God always does. He will never turn away and will always be running towards me, no matter what. This is the secret mystery, hidden for ages and for our glory before time began. Saint Paul speaks of this in 1 Corinthians 2 and Colossians 1. Now revealed, CHRIST in me, the hope of GLORY!
Thank you Lord for this revelation and for your finished work.
Blessings to the saints who defend this truth no matter what!
