Love remains long after words of knowledge fade away. 12- For now we see but a faint reflection of riddles and mysteries as though reflected in a mirror, but one day we will see face to face. My understanding is incomplete now, but one day I will understand everything, just as everything about me has been fully understood. FRIDAY (or pick a family night) NIGHT. Pop some popcorn and watch this movie with kids and reflect upon what could be considered the film’s main theme, summed up the end comment, “No more dark. No more cave. From now on we’ll stay out here where we can follow the light.” Look up the word “light” to see how many times and how it is used in the Bible. Are we hiding from God’s unending love? Do we truly know HOW much God gives us daily and HOW much he really cares about us? Lets rediscover the depth of his love by deepening our relationship with holy spirit. God is trying to show us what is truly important during these challenging times, but only because he wants to prepare us so we are strong in the Lord when we most need him. Let’s rediscover our gifts of the spirit and share them with your family tonight! What has God revealed to you so far during this season of deep intimacy with the Lord? Paul told us to, “Pray at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints” (Ephesians 6:18).
NT Wright said, “We can rest because we know our victory in Christ.” Therefore, we don’t need to operate out of fear or insecurity, because holy spirit reveals Jesus and Jesus shows us the love of the father. Rest in Gods abiding LOVE. Spread love and grace to all people. This is the season of REST and REVIVAL (which also involves looking within… what is revealed to you when you sit for 10- 20 mins without “doing” anything. Just listen. Are the thoughts in your head focused on Kingdom / Bringing heaven on earth ? Or is your mind thinking about past regrets, people pleasing, impatience, irritation, etc… OR, is your mind filled with overflowing gratitude and bliss? If you are anything like me, probably more of the negative stuff, especially at first, but lets get right to the crux of sin- which is to miss the mark/ basically not living in spirit and truth, or – “Eating from the tree of Knowledge” list verses here…(___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________)
Let’s pray for an activation from holy spirit to release for the whole body of Christ to start eating MORE from the “Tree of Life” who is the Logos (Word) of God, our very pleased with us, Lord, Jesus Christ! When we operate out of love, honor and dignity for one another, it pleases God and we mature together as the body of Christ. In order to rule and rein, stop “waiting for someone to come to the rescue like Superman, and lets rise up to whatever it is God has called you to be! This is the year of Serenity and Transformation. Are you ready? Enjoy the ride and share the GOOD NEWS! Jesus died for all and there is nothing we can DO in our own strength(______) to be saved because he is our righteousness and our salvation (________________). He is the ALPHA and the OMEGA (____________________) It is finished (_______) You are holy and loved by God (_______________). You are the temple of God (____________) If Adams sin became our death curse, who became our redemption? (__________) What did Paul say to the unbelievers about who he came to reveal? (__________________) How did he treat them? Did he said he had all the answers and if they don’t listen to him they will suffer forever? Of course not! Look with your parents and find the verse “In him we live, move and have our being” (_____________)
